Sad little dude

Poor little guy. He was not happy that I had to go in and dry my camera. He wanted photos of him snowboarding but he had to wait. You can see that my lens is a little fogged up. I actually like the soft look of this ... makes it a little dreamy and the black and white makes it look even a little more sad. It's thawing out around here at them moment and I know I'm not in the majority but I hate when the snow melts. I prefer everything covered in white. I like the snow...probably because I don't have to go out in it very often and when it melts everything is just so gray and brown. I wish we could go right from white to green :).

and then he got over it.

The Carhart Family

My boys sledding and snow boarding last week. I just decided to get these photos off the camera and found this one. I laughed when I saw it. There is a lot of history in this photo. You see the little one struggling with the sled. He's wearing my oldest sons first Carhart coat. The one struggling to get up the hill he's wearing another Carhart hand-me-down of the oldest son. I can remember the oldest one wearing the one the youngest is wearing like it was yesterday. I remember the day my husband bought it for him. He was so proud and beamed at me when they picked me up from work for lunch out with them. He even wore it to his afternoon pre-school that day. His lastest coat was a gift from his grandpa who past away last year. So even though this photo ain't the best it sure makes me feel good to look at it. I might be playing catch up on blogging over the course of the next few days because I have lots of photos I want to post.
