My favorite card ever

I did this last month for http://www.classycoordinates.com/. I normally just like the cards I create. This one I love. I seriously would have a hard time giving it away. I haven't been submitting anything for publication. I think I'm over it. It just doesn't seem important anymore and there just isn't time in the day. Oh don't get me wrong if I definitely had something I thought would fit a call I would submit. I don't even feel the need to enter contests. I'm just happy where I'm at. I'm getting ready to start planning my Christmas cards and the kids are starting to get busy. Winter is pretty much the only time of year that the kids can participate in sports. So I signed Johnathan up for wrestling. I initially thought it was just going to be a one day clinic....ummm I was wrong. It's a whole season of wrestling. I think he seriously needs to be involved with something and I think this will be good for him. He's a rough and tumble kid who rarely gets to rough and tumble other than fighting with his brother and sister. The only thing is I'm not a fan of wrestling. I was a matmaid in high school and saw the way the boys would try and make weight. I didn't think that this would apply to second graders. We haven't even had a practice yet and he came home from school yesterday and said "mom, if you wrestle you can't have sugar". WHAT? See this is just what I was worried about. No way is my kid going to try and make weight like that. No ifs ands or buts about it. It's not going to happen and if it does there will be no more wrestling. I think it's sorta ridiculous that he's going to have practice three times a week and the "season" will last for seven weeks. Maybe this isn't a good idea but like I said winter is the only season John's business doesn't keep us from letting the kids be involved in extra-cirrcular activities. Also, Meganne will be starting baton lessons and here we go. I should be hopeful that practices won't overlap. I have no idea what I'll do when all three of them are involved in things. Hopefully it'll work out that one or two will be playing and the other will be cheering but I don't see that working out until they are all in high school...I've got a LONG way to go!
